This week I also crafted a trio of cards based on the free Valentine from Close to My Heart. This free download of card pattern layouts can be found on their blog, Make it from Your Heart. It is free download that you can print out, and in my case, make changes for my layers. I know you are shocked I added more layers.
Pattern 3 is my favorite so we will start in reverse order. The stamp is from the You Are Here Cricut Collection. On all the cards the same materials were used. The solid colors Canary, Cranberry, and Pacifica are layered with their matching fundamental paper (this is a retired version of this paper set). The new fundamentals can be seen here. The dotted line stamp is from the February Stamp of the Month, Sunny Thoughts. The red star is the smallest from the Thin Cuts - Basic Stars set. The star is popped up with a tiny 3-D Foam Dot. I always have to add a sliver of glitter trim and on these I used the White Shimmer Trim. The trim is split in half to make them skinnier. The white faceted gems are from the the Grey Gems set.
For this card I added an extra layer for the plain white stamped paper, layer H.
Working on Pattern 2 I used all the same supplies and embellishments as Pattern 3 except this sentiment is also from February's Stamp of the Month.
On this pattern I added three extra layers to give each solid color a patterned paper layer for the three colors. Because of the layers building up I also used some Thin 3-D Foam Tape strips to help life the stamped piece level.
Pattern 1's stamp is large sentiment that would be the focal point. This is from a retired stamp set called Beautiful Moments.
Just as the previous pattern, I added 3 more layers to given the colors each their own double layer.
